2022年5月15日 (大港15日讯) 来自大港的翁女士患有失聪多年，因家境贫困无法购买价格数千的助听器，无形中让翁女士在与家人日常沟通时产生诸多不便，渐渐影响了与家人相处的温馨时刻。 翁女士日前在雪州中医狮子会创会会长黄保民、副会长兼大港分会主席卢顺福及该会医药顾问辛伟纶的陪同下，见证由听力学家兼 Sound Life Hearing 创办人庄丽年，在她公司旗下爱心助听器捐献计划（Hope For Hearing) 赞助助听器给翁女士，让后者可以重新恢复听力过着正常生活。 黄保民说，现在耳鸣和耳聋的人越来越多，雪州中医狮子会将配合及成为 Sound Life Hearing旗下的爱心助听器捐献计划支持单位，主要协助听力有问题的贫穷家庭患者解决听力问题。
